The form of the experimental
pp. 81-191
in: , Experiment and exploration: forms of world-disclosure, Berlin, Springer, 2014Abstract
Now that the experiment is no longer erroneously understood as a method of exploration, but rather as its own form of world disclosure, its fundamental and everyday meaning can be investigated. This was not possible as long as the theories that tried to understand the processes of world disclosure remained bound to the paradigms of representation. Only now, with the help of an explicitly paradoxical understanding of the concept of the world, is it possible to describe exploration and experiment as equal forms of world disclosure, distinct and in contrast to one another. In this section the experiment will be characterised on the basis of 21 closely interwoven concepts and distinguished against 21 complementary characteristics of exploration.
